Yesterday we checked out retirement home locations near the North & South Carolina border. We had a lot of challenges identifying mountain view vs. mountain properties in advance. We did see some possible locations on rt. 176 between Saluda, Tryon, and Landrum. Also along rt. 14 and rt. 11 (Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy.) near Gowensville, and near Pickens and Pumpkinville on rt. 8. This home is on South Cherokee or South Cherry Creek road, just south of rt. 11, near Table Rock State Park. Can't find it on Google tho, must be new.
