Bryson City and Croft State Park

Yesterday we drove to Bryson City to look at some mountain home locations.  By the time we were thru I think we both decided that living in a valley with a mountain view was safer.  I can't believe that people actually risk their lives to get in and out of their homes everyday.

Today we took a short 1-1/2 drive to Croft State Park near Spartanburg, SC.  It was nice to arrive somewhere early, make camp, eat lunch, and still have time for a swim in the local stream.

We arrived back at home around 2:30p today.  I think we were all overjoyed.  Nic ran up the driveway he was excited.
