On Tuesday, the 16th, we ditched Roan Mountain for nicer digs. Honestly, windy mountain roads, raining, muddy, 2 level non-accessible campsite with 8 steps between the picnic table and no handrail, which was also blocking our trailer access partially, no place for the grill and limited access around the trailer with no mobile or TV signals, and laundry dryers were broken. We did have OK wifi tho, surprisingly.
Thankfully, I was able to add 1 night on the front end of our stay at Warriors' Path. Only 1 hour from Roan, sunshine, big site, bathrooms close, worth the $37, and we had time for some house hunting.
Today, we checked out the park and did some house hunting up in Abingdon VA.
