Springfield Illinois

Today we went to Lincoln's Museum & Library, Lincoln's Springfield Home, and Lincoln's Tomb.  It was a crystallization of everything I learned about the man over my life, and also a corollary for a lot of the divisiveness we see in America today.  If you wish to understand the challenges we face as a nation today, go to Springfield IL, not Washington DC.

We arrived back at home around 2:30p today.  I think we were all overjoyed.  Nic ran up the driveway he was excited.
