Fort Macon State Park, Atlantic Beach, NC

Yesterday we drove about 2 hours to Fort Macon State Park for one last shot at the ocean, no pics.  Unfortunately the Ocean was still not cooperating and this has to be the roughest we've seen thruout our entire trip.  The waves were so bad that we all got knocked down and I was struggling to hold on to hats, sunglasses, Nic, and at times Donna.  Not much time in the water, tho Nic and I sat at the edge collecting sand in our trunks, which Nic seemed to enjoy immensely :-)  However, the beach was really nice, and the water was a beautiful blue green, different from SC beaches.
