It's Monday, July 11th, my birthday. The last few days have been interesting to say the least. After a call with my college roomie where we joked about not having air conditioning in the trailer, a storm rolled thru our camp site near Texarkana, and took out power. After about 3 hours, we were considering a night stay in a hotel, when the park manager told us the camping loop at the other end of the park still had power and we could move. So we threw together our stuff and quickly moved. We got a good nights sleep, and then yesterday morning, when Donna still didn't seem to be improving, I nagged her into going to Urgent Care where we discovered that we all had COVID, no surprise, but Nic also had Flu B, and I had Flu A. The Doctor prescribed some Tamiflu, which also can help with COVID, and a few other things for Donna. In the afternoon, we did manage to get in some swimming, though it was more like a really hot bath. The water never gets to these temperatures up in Wisconsin. Today we move on to our campsite near Memphis.
