Right around the time we reached the crater we got a warning on our phones about a wildfire in Coconino Natl forest. As we reached Flagstaff we could see it up in the mountains just north of the city. In addition I was battling wind gusts up to 40 mph, but the winds were eastward pushing it away from our drive up route 180 to the Canyon. We're safe at our RV Park just south of the Canyon now. We're really only here to see the canyon tomorrow and we leave the next day.
