Tuscon, AZ

We left Sedona this morning and arrived at Gilbert Ray County Campground in the afternoon around 4:30p after experiencing some bumps along the road just after leaving our campground in Sedona.  I had been having problems locking the outside shower compartment and it popped open shortly after departure dragging the shower line along the ground.  I pulled in to a not-so-ideal parking lot and secured it, but on the way out of the lot I had to negotiate a narrow exit with 2 curbs on both sides, 1 of which bent the weight distribution hitch on 1 side and knocked the bar out.  I was able to loosen bolts and get everything back together, but it wasn't straight.

My background in structures told me that once metal is fatigued in such a manner, the whole system is compromised, so erroring on the side if caution, we stopped at a local dealer near our campground and luckily they stocked our brand of WDH, so it only delayed us about 1-1/2 hours.  But on approach to our new campsite, Donna and I began to question our choices.  First, its unseasonably hot even for Tuscon at this time of year (116 degrees), 2nd, as we drove the narrow, winding rode, we realized this campsite is out in the middle of nowhere with maybe 2 other campers, in the Seguro Natl forest, and upon arriving at our campsite the AC kept blowing a fuse until I reset the breaker outside.  We're definitely going to Tombstone, not sure what else we'll do tho, maybe find a water park if possible.

We arrived back at home around 2:30p today.  I think we were all overjoyed.  Nic ran up the driveway he was excited.
