Yesterday we toured Mount Airy (Mayberry) North Carolina, the boyhood home of Andy Griffith, and a lot of what the series was based on.  It was fun, tho we had a couple of downpours that lasted a few minutes.  The town was a bit touristy, but still neat to see, and a lot of the references in the series are real places.  We also visited the Andy Griffith Museum where Thelma-Lou couldn't keep her hands off me.

We arrived back at home around 2:30p today.  I think we were all overjoyed.  Nic ran up the driveway he was excited.
